Alan Laskin

Biography

Alan M. Laskin has practiced law in California since 1990, trying more than 55 cases to jury verdict. Unlike most personal injury lawyers or attorneys who routinely settle their cases, Mr. Laskin is a fighter who recommends settlement only when he is sure that the insurance company offers his client fair treatment.

Mr. Laskin’s personal injury cases have been tried in Sacramento County, San Francisco County, Stanislaus County, Alameda County, Placer County, Solano County, and Portland, Oregon.

His other areas of professional accomplishment include sitting as a Judge Pro Tem in the Settlement Department of the Sacramento County Superior Court where he acts as a Settlement Conference Judge. He has had great success in assisting parties in resolving their cases without having to go to trial.

Mr. Laskin is an Arbitator for Yolo County, Sacramento County, Placer County, Monterey County, and San Joaquin County.

As a Private Mediator, Mr. Laskin is often retained by private parties to mediate cases which cannot be resolved without the assistance of a neutral third party.
